Postdoctoral position within the EU project METACONTROL aimed to apply soil metagenomics to identify novel mechanisms of antagonism and antifungal activity. Microbial Ecology Group RUG (head: Prof. J.D. van Elsas).
Collaboration with the group of Dr. J.M. van der Wolf, in PRI-WUR, Wageningen, on a project: "Transmission of plant pathogen Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris by insects".

Ph.D. research “The significance of microbial diversity in agricultural soil for disease suppressiveness”.
This project was financed by NWO and was carried out in collaboration between NIOO-CTE (supervision of Prof. Dr. J. A. van Veen) and PRI, Wageningen (supervision of Prof. Dr. J. D. Van Elsas).
