Curriculum Vitae
Ing. Anita Wijnholds (1964) graduated in Arnhem as a chemistry technician. She started working at the Vitrite factory in Middelburg on waste effluent. From 1987 until now she is working at the NIOO-CEMO. During many years she was involved in research studying the effect of reactive oxygen species in cultures of phytoplankton. She developed a variety of analytical methods especially with the use of HPLC (sugars, organic acids, opines, malondialdehyde, phytochelatins). The last years she specialized in confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), flow cytometry (FCM) and fluorescence in situ hybridization techniques for cyanobacteria (FISH, TSA-FISH and Two-pass TSA-FISH).
