Curriculum Vitae
2012 – present: post-doctoral research fellow at the NIOO microbial ecology department
2007 - 2011: PhD-student at the NIOO microbial ecology department. Project title: the microbial control of phosphorus fluxes in marine sediments.
2007: MSc Biology, Utrecht University. Undergraduate research project: the ecology of methanotrophic bacteria in wetlands.
Interest
The involvement of microorganisms in biogeochemical cycles. More specifically, the influence of microorganisms in sediments on the availability of nutrients in the water layer.
