Curriculum Vitae
From 1986 to 1994 I studied econometry at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Already then, I specialised in administrative information science.
My first job was at a subsidy consultancy firm (1995 - 1998). I developed an application to show the effects of a law concerning sick leave to any given company. Furthermore, I made a database application to keep accounts of EFS subsidy for a large number of customers.
From 1998 to 2002 I worked at a software company. As a database and application programmer I was part of a team that developed an application for container haulers.
From 2002 on, I'm working at CEME in the ecosystem studies workgroup. One of the applications I made here is femme PLOT, a tool to visualise output generated by femme models. I'm also responsible for LIMS, our laboratory information management system. This application was outsourced first, but now I'm building new options and solving the still existing bugs. An interesting new development here is NODCi, where data from LIMS will be made available to public use by the internet.
