19 augustus 2009: Nederlandse vogels trekken minder ver door warmer klimaat
HETEREN (Gld.) – “De afgelopen 70 jaar overwinterden veel Nederlandse trekvogels steeds dichterbij hun broedgebied, zeer waarschijnlijk omdat het warmer is geworden,” zegt onderzoeker Marcel Visser van het Nederlands Instituut voor Ecologie (NIOO-KNAW). In het augustusnummer van Global Change Biology laat hij met zijn team de verandering zien, gestoeld op ruim 15.000 terugmeldingen van geringde vogels.
